Our Mission
At PyEngineer Automation, our mission is to introduce the latest Python automation tools to non-software engineers, which allows them to boost workflow efficiency.
There are a lot of websites and courses out there which teach people Python in order to become data scientists. Python is not only about data science, it can also be a great tool to automate engineering workflow.
However, there are limited resources to relate Python to engineering. This platform aims to bridge this gap by providing insights on using Python to automate engineers’ daily workflow.

Philip Tsang
Founder
Philip Tsang has a BSc and MSc in Civil Engineering and a Ph.D. in Geotechnical Engineering with research focus on soil-structure interaction and fibre-optic monitoring. Through his Ph.D., he was the instructor for several core Master subjects and students have appreciated his logically structured class material and clear presentation skill.
His engineering work experience includes geotechnical analysis and design of structures in the roads, railways, bridges, and tunnels sectors. He is experienced in numerical modelling using finite element packages including such as PLAXIS 2D/3D, Leapfrog, Strand7, SlopeW, RocScience Packages, and LimitState Geo.
He has a keen interest in innovating, challenging business as usual, and finding new ways of engineering and designing our structures. He has used Python to develop automation tools to boost the efficiency of the current design workflow.
